Print Information From Previous Years
Pay History
The Pay History report can be used to print previous years information.
To find this report, click on the "Reports" button in the third column of buttons on the main menu of Payroll Pro. From the Reports Menu, look down the left column and you will find the Pay History report. A history for the company or departments can also be printed - this can be found on the right hand side.
For the Employee Pay History Report a number of options are available including
- selection of a date range
-
show individual pay periods, or hide pay periods and just get a total for the date range
- a range of information can be selected
- you can show allowance and deduction totals
We suggest printing to the screen first to see what is on a report. If there is more than one page you can use the arrows to the top to move through the pages.
If you would like to print the report for just one employee, click the "Change" button then click the button labelled "Click here to select a single employee". Click here for screen shots showing this.
Leave Balances
Holiday Pay Balances and Sick Leave Balances are only available for the current point in time, so the balances as at a previous date are not available from the reports. Please refer to reports you printed in the past for this information.
If it is not possible to locate a printed report and it is important to have this information:
Another option is to restore your data from a backup made at the time for when you require the balance. For example if you require a balance report for last year on 30 May, you would restore from your backup made at that time. This should be done carefully by first creating a new folder to restore your data into, then restoring carefully into that folder.
To do this, select FILE then CREATE NEW COMPANY. Enter a folder name such as ZCOPY or ZTEMP or anything which clearly identifies this for you as a copy. Above the company name you will see two options - the top one being "Create a new company". Click this top option as you do not need to apply for a registration code. Click "Create Data".
You will now have a new folder to restore your data into. Click here for details about restoring data. Ensure you read section "B" "Restoring to a Different Location", as you will not want to restore old data over the top of your current data.
If you are not comfortable doing this and it is not urgent, you are welcome to email us a copy of your backup and we can extract the report for you, and email the report back to you.
